Maree and Tidda
My hope with these illustrations is to provide the space for each character to tell the story of how they want to change the way animals and humans intersect, better than words ever could.
The stories will be of kindness, beauty and freedom but above all love for the little creatures and those who keep them safe.
Maree is a changemaker a warrior for the planet. She spends her days listening to the earth with the help of her familiar Tidda. He is the one who holds court with the wisest and passes on the news to Maree for her to build the plans that will change the way humans interact with the environment. They both know this is a long game strategy and are committed to keeping their promises to each other so that the future generations will prosper.

I have created these works with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils on Canson Cotton Paper. Each original is sized at A2 which equates to 42 x 59 cm.
