Holly and Guido
My hope with these illustrations is to provide the space for each character to tell the story of how they want to change the way animals and humans intersect, better than words ever could.
The stories will be of kindness, beauty and freedom but above all love for the little creatures and those who keep them safe.
When Holly met Guido it was a sad sad day indeed. Guido was in a cage and he has lost all will to shine his bright colours to the world. Holly was detrmined to give Guido the life that he was born t have in the wild rainforest so she liberated him from his confinement. Holly lives in the rainforest where the only sounds to be heard are the birds and the frogs and calls of all manner of creatures. When Guido saw his new home he scurried up the first tree and bloomed into the most vibrant of rainbow colours. Most days he visits Holly in the morning to take tea and toast on her verandah and they make plans for future liberations at the market.

I have created these works with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils on Canson Cotton Paper. This original is sized at A3 which equates to 30 x 42 cm.
These works are sold unframed with a white mat surround so that you can simply take to the framers or slip into your favourite ikea frame.
