Delilah and June
My hope with these illustrations is to provide the space for each character to tell the story of how they want to change the way animals and humans intersect, better than words ever could.
The stories will be of kindness, beauty and freedom but above all love for the little creatures and those who keep them safe.
Delilah met June when she was a tiny fledgling who had fallen from her nest during a fierce dust storm. Delilah tried to find June's family nest but the storm had all but destroyed the trees surrounding the town. So Delilah became June's provider, her safe haven, her home and when she opened her eyes June knew instantly Delilah was her mother. So every spring when June builds her nest, she is sure to stay close to home where Delilah can share in the joys of building her family.

I have created these works with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils on Canson Cotton Paper. Each original is sized at A2 which equates to 42 x 59 cm.
These works are sold unframed with a white mat surround so that you can simply take to the framers or slip into your favourite ikea frame.
